Who I am
Early Life: Victor. U. Obikezie aka MBOMA couldn’t come at a better time. As a new generation takes the reigns, African root music is needed more than ever to remind us of the troubled pathways of our own history. Born in Lagos State Nigeria, Mboma is the first child of a family of six. Mboma graduated from the Imo state University of Nigeria where he studied Real estate management.
Mboma is gifted with rapping skills and songwriting abilities which has landed him in the spotlight.
Forging on after graduation, he travelled to Indonesia with the aim to come back and fulfil his musical dream which was best known to him alone.
Music Career: After discovering his love for music, he dived into music� dedicating his time and scarce resources to creating and developing the art, with his style traced from different genres. He plays as a fusion artist, with elements drawn from Highlife, Afro Pop, Hip-hop, Reggae, Dancehall, and R&B.
